It’s a life of Riley now dad’s home

SOLDIER Keith Sugrue was enjoying a slice of family life with wife Gemma and 18-month-old Riley after returning from a tour of Afghanistan.

Troops from the 3rd Battalion The Rifles returned to their base at Redford Barracks over the weekend.

The soldiers will hold a Homecoming Parade in the Capital on Saturday, when they will be granted the Freedom of Edinburgh.

Keith, 37, said: “We’re really chuffed and we’re all looking forward to it a lot. It’s good to see the people of Edinburgh support us. It’s a brilliant city, couldn’t ask for a better one.”
