It’s a big Asp for city band

CAPITAL band The Asps are set to play London’s Hyde Park in the biggest concert of their lives, also featuring the likes of Tom Jones, Blur and The Specials.

The up-and-coming outfit, who were handpicked by legendary producer Ron Nevison to record their new album, will take to the stage at BT London Live on August 4.

In September, the Evening News told how the six-piece group, described as Kings of Leon meets Duran Duran, were jetting off to San Francisco to record their debut album masterminded by Nevison.
