It all adds up for charities

Staff at a firm of chartered accountants have raised more than £1500 to be split between three good causes.

Workers at the Capital office of Johnston Carmichael gave £230 to an Alzheimer’s charity, £100 to Pilrig Park School and more than £1200 to the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.

A number of activities were held over a year, including dress down days, Christmas carol concerts, raffles and cake sales in the office.
