Isolated by a power fire

RESIDENTS were told to remain in their homes after a fire broke out in an electrical box on Carrick Knowe Drive.

Fire crews cordoned off the pavement access point shortly after 7.30am on Saturday and asked Scottish Power to isolate the power source, in order to allow them to investigate the cause of the fire.
