AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a dog was attacked and killed by another dog in Aberdeen.

The dog was allegedly savaged by another dog on Nellfield Place in the city centre on Wednesday morning and died from its injuries following the attack between Holburn Street and Great Northern Road.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “A dog was attacked by another dog and later died of its injuries.” She said that enquiries were continuing into the incident and appealed for anyone with any information about the attack to contact the force.
