Investigation after prisoner dies in jail

A PRISONER serving time for housebreaking and drugs offences has died in jail.

The Scottish Prison Service has informed relatives of Mark Malone, 35, who was convicted at Glasgow and Strathkelvin Sheriff Court on 21 February.

His death will also be reported to the Procurator Fiscal so that a full investigation can be carried out.
