The victim is in his late 30s and at the time of the assault was wearing a blue shirt with a lined pattern, dark trousers with short black hair. He is also described as having a tattoo on his right arm.

Police Scotland are seeking anyone who saw “interactions” between the victim and his two attackers to contact them.

One of the suspects is described as 6ft tall, slim build, with short blonde shaved hair.

The other man is described as 5ft 9in tall, stocky build, with short dark shaved hair.

A spokesman for the nightclub said the victim was given first aid by a member of staff following the assault.

He added: “We have supplied all relevant CCTV to Police Scotland and continue to assist them in their inquiry.”

Miami Nightclub bosses appeared before the Highland Licensing Board in October over concerns for the safety of youngsters at the club.

There had been allegations of sexual assault, underage drinking and violence on the premises.

The board allowed the club to keep its licence after hearing there had been a crackdown on underage revellers.
