POLICE are increasingly anxious to trace a man last seen two days ago walking his dog in Inverness, after the ‘wolf like’ pet was found.

Jamie Burgess, 48, was last spotted in the Bught area of Inverness walking his large Husky cross dog on Tuesday at 10.45am.

His dog has now been found close to the area he was last seen.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “This has increased concerns for his welfare.”

Jamie is described as 5ft 6in in height, of muscular build with dark greying receding hair.

He is believed to be wearing a dark grey and navy chequered coat, navy trousers and black Dr Marten boots.

He has previously frequented the Glasgow and London areas.

The spokesman added: “If anyone has information please contact police on 101 or visit your nearest police station if you have any information about Jamie or saw his dog unattended at any time during the last two days.”
