Inquiry launched into police crash

AN INVESTIGATION was under way yesterday after a police car left the road and killed two pedestrians.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission said it had sent investigators to the scene of the collision in Luton. The men, believed to be foreign nationals, were hit by the marked Bedfordshire Police car at 11:51pm on Friday.
