Inquiries flood in for Rubislaw Quarry

A CLOSING date was yesterday placed on Europe's largest manmade hole – only two days after Aberdeen's water-filled Rubislaw Quarry went on sale. The 7.3 acre site, which provided the stone that made Aberdeen the "Granite City", went on sale at only £30,000 on Thursday.

The selling agents yesterday announced set a closing date for 10 February after the firm was inundated with inquiries.
