Increasing concern for missing farmer

A SEARCH was continuing last night for an elderly farmer missing from his holding in Stirlingshire’s remote Carron Valley.

Tom Robb, 74, has not been seen since Saturday when he dropped in at a music festival being held in the area.

Central Scotland Police Inspector Charlie Mitchell said officers were becoming “increasingly concerned” for Mr Robb, of Easter Cringate Farm.

Insp Mitchell said: “We have a lot of local people with knowledge of the area helping us search for him.”

The last confirmed sighting of Mr Robb was at about 4:30pm on Saturday at Duncarron Medieval Fort, where the music festival was being held.
