Hunt for pensioner after bicycle found

Concern is growing for elderly Stirlingshire man whose bicycle was found abandoned 80 miles from his home.

Ronald Shearer, 75, was last seen by family members at 9:30am last Wednesday in Torwood Avenue, Larbert.

He was reported missing on Saturday and his bicycle and bus pass were found on Saturday night by Strathclyde Police near Girvan in Ayrshire.
