Hunt goes on for missing city hotelier

THE Italian owner of the Royal Mile’s five-star Missoni Hotel is still missing more than two days after his tourist plane vanished off the Venezuelan coast.

Contact with Vittorio Missoni, 58, wife Maurizia, two friends and two Venezuelan crew was lost when their plane disappeared.

Rescue teams are continuing their search but have found no trace of the missing party. A family friend said: “Until we see the wreckage, hope will remain.”
