Hunt for bunnies’ owner

ANIMAL welfare chiefs are hunting for the owner of two pet rabbits found in a West Lothian garden.

The white and fawn females were spotted living under decking at a house on Willow Avenue, Fauldhouse, on Sunday.

They were taken to the Scottish SPCA’s Edinburgh and Lothians Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Balerno, where they have been named Thelma and Louise. Inspector Sarah Gregory said: “Thelma and Louise are in good condition so we think they have been someone’s pets until very recently. The man who found them said he returned home from holiday and discovered them under his decking.”

Anyone with information should call the Scottish SPCA Animal Helpline on 03000 999 999.
