Hunt on after woman sexually assaulted

POLICE have launched a hunt for a sex attacker who indecently assaulted a 35-year-old woman.

The incident took place at around 11.45pm on Saturday in King Street, Musselburgh. The suspect is described as white, average height, with fair or blond hair, and wearing jeans and a dark top. He spoke with a local accent.

A police spokesman said: "Anyone who was in the area of Newbigging and Pinkie Road at the time of the assault, who noticed any suspicious activity, should contact police."
