Human rights tops the bill

A RECORD number of productions have entered Amnesty International’s Freedom of Expression competition at the Fringe.

The award, in its ninth year, recognises outstanding productions which raise awareness and understanding of human rights. Critics will watch more than 110 ­productions.

Amnesty International’s Shabnum Mustapha said: “Year on year, we see more productions coming to the Edinburgh Fringe, which raise awareness about human rights.”
