Human rights lesson on film

Pupils are to be given a free screening of an animated film to educate them on the issue of women's rights in Iran.

The award-winning Persepolis, about a girl coming of age during the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979, will be shown at Cineworld tomorrow as part of National Schools Film Week.

Kate Allen, Director of Amnesty International UK, said: "Film can present the complexity of human rights to young people in a direct way."
