More than a 1000 tonnes of scrap caught on fire at RM Supplies in Inverkeithing, Fife.
Fire crews were scrambled from more than 20 miles away to attend the blaze, which started at 5.40am yesterday. Residents as far away as South Queensferry were told to keep their doors and windows closed.
