Housing association picks up top award

EAST Lothian Housing Association has become the most recent landlord in Scotland to achieve Tenant Participation Advisory accreditation.

Lesley Baird, chief executive of TPAS Scotland, explained the award was due to the relationship with its tenants.

She said: “Throughout the accreditation process we’ve been impressed by the way ELHA works together with tenants to set standards and scrutinise performance.

“Its work has established a framework for meaningful tenant involvement.”
