Housebreaker facing prison

A MAN who broke into a house and stole £1100 worth of appliances has been warned he could be sent to prison.

Connor Devine, 17, broke into the property at Rosevale Place, Edinburgh and got away with a laptop computer, a games console, an iPod and a camera.

Devine, of Dryden Gait, Edinburgh, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to the May 2011 theft by breaking and entering charge at the city’s sheriff court.

Sheriff Alistair Noble deferred sentence on Devine until March 13.
