Hopetoun to host Rotary clubs concert

HOPETOUN House in South Queensferry has been chosen by the sister Rotary Clubs of South Queensferry and Linlithgow Grange to host this year's Gala Christmas Concert.

All profits from the performance on December 10 will go to Hope and Homes for Children's Project Ubuntu.

The audience will be treated to performances from Heather Boyd, Peter Thomson, Ian Hood and Sue Hughes.

Among the highlights of the evening will be festive songs including The Snowman and other seasonal favourites, Corelli's Christmas Concerto and a reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Tickets, which cost 15 each and include a champagne reception, are available by calling 0131-331 2136.

They can also be purchased from any member of the Rotary Club of South Queensferry or of Linlithgow Grange.
