Homes plan withdrawn

A DEVELOPER has withdrawn plans to build 36 houses on land next to a Lothian church.

Bett Homes & Banks Developments, based in Stirling, put forward proposals to create the homes on land adjacent to St Mathew's Church in Carnethie Street in Rosewell, Midlothian.

The plans were submitted to Midlothian Council on 9 March.
