Home Office warned over 'unpaid staff'

THE Home Office should not offer unpaid work experience placements while preparing to make full-time staff redundant, Lib Dem MPs said yesterday.

Unions said 20 people are "effectively working for free" in the Home Office as the department prepares to shed thousands of posts.
