Home care service to come to city

A CARE service run by a disabled man is set to expand into Edinburgh.

Mochridhe has operated in Glasgow for years thanks to founder Jon Fleming, who has a condition attacking the spine, and now he wants to move into the Capital.

The organisation - which means "my heart" in Gaelic - wants people who require home care to get in touch and see what can be offered, adding that the service clients receive is extremely tailored to their needs, and would be no more expensive than they could afford.

Mr Fleming said: "I run my service the way I want to be supported myself.

"I believe in the personal touch, and in offering you what you choose as important.

"Mochridhe believes society disables individuals and not your impairment."
