Hit Edinburgh restaurant Wedgwood savours taste of top award

A LOCAL restaurant has picked up the prestigious Rémy Martin VSOP Award for Best Newcomer in the UK.

Wedgwood, run by Scot Paul Wedgwood and his partner Lisa, focuses on local seasonal ingredients and foraged food.

Mr Wedgwood said: "Lisa and I are delighted to have been presented with this prestigious accolade.

"It is especially flattering knowing that it is the diners who voted for us. This is an award we wholeheartedly share with the team."
