Hibs star due in court

HIBS star Leigh Griffiths is due to appear in court later this week to stand trial on 
shoplifting charges

The 22-year-old is alleged to have shoplifted bottles of water and fruit juice from a Tesco supermarket in Corstorphine in January.

The case is to be called again on Wednesday, when a trial date could be set.

Griffiths entered no plea when the matter was first called on March 6 but denied the shoplifting charges on Twitter.

He admitted to his followers that he had been questioned.
