Hibs goalie held over club fight

A SCOTTISH Premier League goalkeeper has been arrested over an alleged fight in a London nightclub.

Hibernian star Graham Stack, 30, was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm after a man in his 20s was treated in hospital.

It is understood London-born Stack was arrested outside a nightclub in Kingly Street at around 2:30am on Sunday after a fight broke out inside the venue.

He was questioned at a central London police station and bailed pending further inquiries.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of ABH and taken into custody at a central police station.

“He was bailed pending further inquiries, returning in mid-January 2012. A man in his 20s suffering from facial injuries was taken to hospital and subsequently discharged.”

Hibernian later confirmed they would not be issuing a statement on the incident.
