Hettie artist draws crowd

TALENTED local illustrator Jo Allan is promoting her new children's book Hungry Hettie on Saturday with a public reading at Loanhead Library.

Aimed at youngsters aged five or younger, Ms Allan will narrate Hettie the Highland Cow's journey around the Highlands as she searches for food to eat.

The free event is subject to the weather but is expected to begin at 10.45am following the library's weekly Bookbug Storytelling session.
