A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 22-year-old local man was arrested and subsequently charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today.”

Temporary Detective Inspector Scott Thompson said:“The action taken here again demonstrates our determination to disrupt the flow of drugs into Dundee and Tayside and to make our communities inhospitable and hostile places for those people who seem intent on profiting on the misery of others.

“The public can assist us by providing any information that can assist in disrupting the activities of drugs dealers. Tell us if drugs are being dealt where you live. The information you have can help us to take action against those very individuals who are hurting our communities.”
