Heritage body feels squeeze with 10% cut
The quango, which looks after Scotland's nature and landscapes, has received 60.674 million for 2010-11 - a 10.6 per cent cut on this year's funding.
A package of cuts announced by SNH yesterday (Thurs) revealed there would be an 11 per cent cut in spending on the communications budget, including awareness-raising campaigns and promotional work.

Hide AdIan Jardine, SNH chief executive, said: "It is difficult, but we do have to adapt in order to cope with the combination of reduced budgets, along with the additional responsibilities we will have. As a result, we will become a smaller and more focused organisation, concentrating on a smaller range of issues."
