Heriot-Watt retains title

Heriot-Watt University has defended its Scottish University of the Year title in this year’s edition of an annual guide.

The accolade has been awarded as a result of the National Student Survey, which is published this Sunday.

Edinburgh University came sixth in the Scottish league table, followed by Napier in tenth and Queen Margaret in 12th. Alastair McCall, editor
of the guide, said: “It is
unprecedented for a university to win a national title two years’ running.”
