Helicopter pilot injured in crash

A PILOT has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after a small helicopter crashed in a field.

Avon and Somerset Police said they responded to an incident in which a helicopter crashed near Glastonbury yesterday afternoon. The police received a report around 2:20pm of the in an area near Glastonbury's Cinnamon Lane.
