POLICE are investigating the theft of a massive blacksmith's anvil weighing more than 160lb.

The iron antique was taken from the back garden of a house in Toll Road, Methilhill, Fife, on Sunday. It is thought a wheelbarrow may have been used to remove it.
Police say it would have required more than one person to carry out the theft.
