Hearts caterer swaps Tynecastle for Everest

A HEARTS catering manager is set to remove her apron and strap on her hiking boots for a charity trek to Everest.

Christina Ansell, deputy catering manager at the Tynecastle club, is to climb to the base camp of the world's tallest mountain with her husband Dean and two friends, Dave Ward and Kate Dilworth, in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Mrs Ansell said: "We have set our fundraising target at 12,000.

"I am also planning to hold a fundraising event at Tynecastle Stadium in July, and a golf tournament at a local golf club, to boost our donations."
