Heart operation survivor in organ donor call

PROUDLY displaying the scar from a heart op that saved her life, Kate Ball says she only agreed to sign up to a revealing new organ donating awareness campaign after mishearing an organiser on the phone.

The 31-year-old journalist, of Merchiston, said it was windy when she agreed to take part in a revealing photo-shoot so got a shock when she arrived on set with hubby Chris, also 31, and realised they were supposed to be posing in their birthday suits. The finished shots of the Edinburgh couple form the central plank of a new awareness campaign by charity Live Life Then Give Life to encourage more people to sign up to the organ donation register.
