The event will follow a screening of the rugby film Play On and will be hosted by TV sports presenter Caroline Henderson. It is being held to mark the 110th anniversary of Eric Liddell’s birth.
The sportsman, known best for his Olympic 400 metres victory and his refusal to run on a Sunday at the same games, also played rugby for Scotland and Edinburgh University.
Ewan Hastings, Eric Liddell Centre fundraising manager, said: “Play On was only released online, thus many rugby fans haven’t heard of, or seen, what is an excellent film about a Scottish rugby player.”
Tickets cost £40 for two people. Visit www.ericliddell.org or e-mail [email protected]
