Harry Potter tour on offer

A Harry Potter tour will be on offer to visitors this summer, highlighting locations believed to have influenced author JK Rowling when she penned her hugely popular series.

Guide Stuart Young said his Old Town Potter Trail will explore sites including Greyfriars Kirkyard, where the tombstone said to have inspired the creation of Lord Voldemort’s character lies. The tour also takes in George Heriot’s School, said to be the inspiration for Hogwarts Castle.
