Happiness is
reunion with
rare hound

THE owner of a rare “wolf-dog” stolen in the city centre has told of her joy after her pet was recovered from a disabled woman who was using the animal to beg for money.

Owner Shuxin Su said she was “shocked” and “devastated” when her beloved TT – a two-year-old Utonagan bitch – was stolen last Saturday outside Jenners on Princes Street.

Ms Su, 46, a charity finance worker from Leith Walk, said she went into the department store briefly and was horrified to discover TT was gone from the place where she had been tied up.

Ms Su said: “I couldn’t stop crying. Of course, I feel angry with the person who took her but since then I’ve realised she is poor and needs help, so I’ll forgive her.

“I shouldn’t have left TT alone – that’s what I’ve learned from this experience. It’s such a relief to have her back.”
