Green light for golf day

An annual charity golf day is to be held at Deer Park Golf & Country Club in West Lothian on June 7.

The event, organised by the Tesco depot in Livingston and sponsored by Driving Agency Monarch, has raised more than 15,000 over the past three years. This year's charity is Alzheimer Scotland and UK.

Around 90 participants will take part.

Cheryl Moir, the club's sales and marketing manager, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be hosting this fantastic Tesco Charity Golf Day for the fourth time. It's always a highly enjoyable day."
