Grassed up: Police swoop on £750,000 cannabis farm and arrest four men after tip-off

CANNABIS plants with a street value of £750,000 have been seized in a police raid on a west coast industrial estate.

Officers made the discovery at a disused factory building in Woodilee industrial estate, Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire, at around 11am yesterday following a tip-off from a member of the public.

Entering under warrant, they found what was estimated to be between 2,000 and 2,500 plants being cultivated in the building.
