Go running for veterans

SUPPORTERS of the veterans’ charity Erskine are being asked to pound the streets to raise vital funds for the ex-service men and women in its care.

Erskine has charity places for this year’s Edinburgh Marathon, Half Marathon and Hairy Haggis Relay on May 26 and 27.

Erskine runs fives care homes across the country, including the Erskine Edinburgh Home in Gilmerton. Erskine’s John Fyfe said: “Please pledge your support to our country’s veterans by signing up to one of the Edinburgh Marathon running events in aid of Erskine.”
