Glaswegian’s ‘grass’ tweet to Tesco goes viral

A GLASWEGIAN’s tweet to Tesco has gone viral - after being dubbed ‘the most Scottish response ever’.

Twitter user @Haraam_ posted an image of an out of date product at Tesco with the caption ‘Selling something nearly two weeks out of date. #NotCool’.

Tesco’s customer service department replied, asking him to tell them the location of the supermarket.

His ‘typically Scottish response’?

“Am no a grass.”

Naturally, the conversation went viral, raking in close to 6,000 retweets and more than 6,000 favourites in under 24 hours.

At the time of posting, the response has over 8,000 retweets and nearly 8,700 favourites.

Later, @haraam_ tweeted: “I’ve turned my notifications off its got well out of hand now.”
