Glass skywalking: Hitting the heights in China

This glass sightseeing platform, which hangs 32.8 metres out from a cliff in Shilinxia in the Pinggu district of Beijing is claimed to be the largest sightseeing platform in the world.

The cantilever of the platform, which opened on May Day, is 32.8 metres long, 11.4 metres longer than the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the US.
