Girls assaulted as they walked home

TWO teenage girls were assaulted while walking home in Glasgow, leaving one detained in hospital with serious facial injuries.

The 17-year-olds were attacked in Gardenside Avenue, Carmyle, after getting into an argument with two men at midnight on Saturday. The men were about 6ft tall and aged 25 to 30. One may have a cut under his left eye after the incident.
