Girl held over double attack

A TEENAGE girl has been arrested and charged in connection with a pair of alleged assaults.

The attacks were carried out in the High Street in Haddington, East Lothian, on Saturday, and officers later detained the 15-year-old girl in connection with the offences.

A report is set to be submitted to the Children's Reporter.

Meanwhile, police seized a vehicle from a 49-year-old man who was stopped at a speeding hotspot in Haddington after officers discovered he had no insurance.
