Gilson Gray grows service range with new hires

Law firm Gilson Gray is celebrating further growth at its East Lothian branch.

The appointment of senior associate Cheryl Edgar means Gilson Gray can now offer its full suite of legal services from its North Berwick office.

The business, which also has sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow, took over the North Berwick branch of competitor Lindsays in May, transferring the office’s existing staff over to Gilson Gray.

Partner Dorothy Kellas, who heads up the North Berwick office, said: “It’s really exciting to be welcoming Cheryl into our team.

“She’s well-known in the area for her talent and in-depth knowledge of the local property market as well as for her ability to put clients at ease and deliver a personal service.

“Our open doors policy means that people are welcome to pop into our office at any time and having someone of Cheryl’s calibre in the team only strengthens the advice we can offer.”

Edgar’s appointment closely follows that of consultant David McPhail in August.
