Get in the swing of things at jazz concerts

JAZZ lovers in West Lothian are in for a treat, with a host of top Scottish and international acts set to perform in the area.

Howden Park Centre in Livingston will host a series of jazz events starting with the Andy Mears Jazz Ensemble on Saturday, from 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £12, or £10 for concessions, and are available by calling the box office on 01506 777666.

The New Jazz Standards Songbook on March 25 will see a variety of pop songs from the likes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, the Kinks, Sting, the Beach Boys and Tom Waits given a jazz makeover.

The following month the Big Apple will come to West Lothian with Jess Abrahams’ A Love Letter to New York show on April 22.

Tickets cost £9 or £7 for concessions.
