Get stripped for action at comics masterclass

THE evolution of a comic from conception to publication will be explained at the Oxfam Comics Event 2010.

Guests for the afternoon at McDonald Road Library include Frank Quitely of New X-men and Batman And Robin, Ferg Handley of Marvel UK and Commando, and David Bishop of 2000AD and Doctor Who. They will discuss the steps a comic takes from original idea through art and script writing stages, to editing and publication. Tickets are 2 on the door and the event runs from noon- 4pm.
