BENEFITS surgeries are to be held in one of Edinburgh's poorest neighbourhoods.

Voice of Carers Across Lothian has distributed 650 leaflets in Dumbiedykes ahead of the events, which are aimed at helping those who care for a relative or loved one. Advice on claiming benefits, stress management and support sessions is available at the Braidwood Centre for those who care for people with disabilities, mental health issues or drug and alcohol problems.
