Germans least tolerant of Islam

Germans are less tolerant of Muslims than their European neighbours.

Only 34 per cent of west Germans and 26 per cent of east Germans think positively of Muslims, Muenster University found, against 62 per cent of Dutch, 56 per cent of French, 55 per cent of Danes and 47 per cent of Portuguese.
